About the Role

The KYC Operations Analyst 2 is an intermediate-level role at Citi, responsible for supporting the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program through Know Your Client (KYC) activities. This position involves performing client profile reviews, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards, and supporting Citi’s efforts to maintain transparency and mitigate financial crime risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer profile reviews for client accounts.

• Review all documentation to ensure compliance with Citi’s policies and local regulatory requirements.

• Update KYC forms and client profiles as per defined policy.

• Follow up with clients to ensure timely receipt of required information.

• Perform day-to-day KYC operations, including:

  • Monitoring and tracking KYC records

  • Managing the Appendix approval process

  • Supporting planning for expiring records

  • Ensuring all records are updated and not overdue

• Ensure adherence to compliance policies and escalate issues appropriately.

• Exercise sound ethical judgment and safeguard Citi’s reputation, clients, and assets.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience (preferably in banking operations or client onboarding/KYC processes)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university qualification

• Strong attention to detail and understanding of regulatory environments

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines

• Good communication and coordination skills
